In the radiant embrace of the Spanish Costa del Sol, two Dutch friends, Bram and David, with a passion for crafting holiday homes and flooring design, embarked on an extraordinary journey. Inspired by their dreams, they envisioned a retreat for families and friends to enjoy. Channeling their expertise, they designed a haven that blended Dutch precision with Spanish charm.
DESIGN HARMONY
BLENDING ELEMENTS FOR ALL SEASONS
Studio Piet Boon designed the layout, material choices, and color scheme. The underlying concept revolved around Marbella’s dual nature—shifting between vibrant summers and cozy winters, with the nearby Sierra Nevada ski resorts just a two-hour drive away. The design sought to capture the essence of both beach life and the alpine slopes, seamlessly merging elements to create a versatile and inviting space. One standout feature is the use of rounded corners, strategically incorporated to impart a softer and more inclusive ambiance, ensuring that the design harmonizes with the diverse experiences Marbella has to offer throughout the year
OUTDOOR LIVING
THE ONLY WAY TO GO
Basking in the Costa del Sol’s warmth, outdoor living in Marbella is a symphony of sun-drenched delights. Family BBQs unfold amidst laughter, while the azure swimming pool beckons for refreshing dips. A jacuzzi, perched with a view of Pico la Concha’s majestic peaks and the glittering Mediterranean, completes this sun-kissed haven.

Having worked on countless projects both David and Bram understood that quality and design matter in such an challenging venture as building a property from the ground up, brick by brick. Working together with likeminded brands who understand the value both entrepeneurs aimed to bring was a vital part in this undertaking.
Julia Living was contracted to oversea the entire design + build process and manufacture and install all of the custom millwork. Intra Lighting was brought onto the project for a lighting design, VZUG for the kitchen appliances, Cocoon as a bathware partner and Senso installed all of the biobased seamless flooring and seamless wall covering throughout the property.
